We created ZANE because we couldn’t find what we needed ourselves.
We wanted something real — a system that actually works, built on science and proven through years of coaching men in the real world.
No empty product promises, no complexity for the sake of it.
Just a tool that helps men take ownership of their routines and mindset — day in, day out.
We come from years of experience as personal trainers and sports scientists. Now, we’re using modern technology — apps and AI — to make that expertise simple, effective, and available anytime, anywhere.
No gurus. No hype. Just what works.
The founders first met at the German Sport University in Cologne, where they both graduated with a degree in Sports Science. As avid rock climbers, they spent years geeking out together—testing diets, training methods, and everything in between to find what actually works and what’s just hype.
As certified fitness trainers, they spent years coaching clients one-on-one, helping them build sustainable routines. Over time, they became experts not just in nutrition and training, but in the psychology of change—understanding what it takes to overcome mental barriers, stay consistent, and make progress that actually lasts.
A few years later, after reconnecting, they realized they needed a better system to replace their endless notepads and checklists. What started as a rough beta version—basically a glorified checklist—quickly showed its limitations. That’s when they decided to build a proper app: something that would guide people step-by-step using real, actionable methods.
Over the next year, they went through version after version—testing each one with real clients, collecting feedback, and refining the experience. Every iteration brought them closer to what people actually needed: not just another app, but a tool that could adapt to real lives, real struggles, and real goals.
Along the way, one thing became clear: men face a unique set of challenges when it comes to health, nutrition, and long-term change—yet most programs treat everyone the same. The more they listened, the more obvious it became that men were being underserved. That’s when they made the decision to focus on men specifically, building a system designed around their needs, habits, and psychology.
That’s when ZANE was born.
